I just got a call from the GI doctor, Dr. Cavazos. They were not able to determine exactly where Katy is bleeding. IT does appear to be in her stomach, again, and they are sending her down to RI to use the same dye that they used to find the bleeding last time. I will post more as I get info.
Love to all,
Al
Will be praying that they find the bleeder and fix it for good this time! Hope to get good news before bed time tonight. Keep on keeping on, Al.
Hang in there Al. Be Strong. Katy is Strong. She is our MIRACLE! I pray IR will intervene and heal for good. look forward to hearing more good news! X O 🙂
Thanks for the update Al. I am glad Arielle got to spend time with you this weekend. A baby needs her daddy! I know it must have been good for you too! I’m keeping Katy in my prayers. God bless, Susan
Hang in there, Al! Lifting you all up today.
Al- your adrenal system must be pretty depleted with all of these ups and downs. You said that these bleeders were likely to crop up but I had hoped differently.
On another note, Jake went swimming with the girls and I yesterday. He really impressed me with how well adjusted and resilient he is. We had a great talk and he blew me away when he tied his shoes by himself! You guys are such good parents! He is unbelievable on the trampoline too. I think that I will take him to the open gym at Rowland and Ballard’s next week- he will love it.
Betta and your mom are great too. Jake is coming over later this week and the girls are so excited. We will keep him busy swimming in the pool, trampolining, biking and doing some crafts.
Can not wait till you guys get home. I was literally tearing up at both Skeeters and the crawfish boil as I thought “Man, Katy would really love this!” You know how she likes a big social event. We will have to do some replays when she is back.
Katy has an incredible spirit and I know that it has helped her enormously in getting through the past month (!). Keep pushing and fighting to keep that spirit alive.
Thinking of you guys. Hurry home.
Jane
